About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Plantech Industries, you will join our elite research teams to design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art AI and Robotics systems and products that push the limits of what’s possible and achieve unmatched performance levels.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable backend systems using Python and its associated web frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI. You will also be tasked with developing RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and components.
Ideally, you:
● Possess extensive experience in Python, Django, Flask, FastAPI, and RESTful API development
● Are skilled in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable backend systems
● Have a proven track record of leading large-scale projects in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
● Demonstrate strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing, continuous integration, and deployment
● Are an expert in database design and optimization, with experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases
● Enjoy creating reusable frameworks and infrastructure that can be applied to various projects
● Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and cutting-edge research environments
● Are genuinely interested in and considerate of the impacts of AI and Robotics technology, caring deeply about how these advancements affect people’s lives and striving to maximize benefits while mitigating potential harms

Compensation, Benefits and Perks
The annual salary range for this role is €25,000 – €40,000. Total compensation also includes generous equity and benefits.
